The client is seeking a Chemical Engineering Manager to fill a Direct Hire opening in Harrison OH!

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of Engineers and Maintenance Technicians
• Formulate and execute annual capital budgets while creating estimates and schedules for project costs.
• Oversee the installation and offer progress updates to ensure the effective operation of plant projects.
• Devise and carry out strategies focused on preserving improving or expanding the plants capital infrastructure.
• Take the lead in identifying planning and executing projects geared towards improving current manufacturing processes increasing efficiency cutting costs enhancing yields and reducing waste.
• Engage external engineering firms when internal expertise is unavailable.
• Develop and put into action training programs for introducing new technologies or equipment
• Provide technical engineering assistance to the plant which includes developing and maintaining technical and engineering standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree
• Previous experience in the Chemical Processing Industry is required
• Previous experience in Engineering Management is required
• Previous experience in Developing & Managing Budgets is required
• Project Management experience
• Microsoft Office
• Verbal and Written communication skills
• ISO Standards
