Job Description

Please Note:
  • The candidate must possess mechanical electrical or HVAC skills/background.
  • The candidate must have previous manufacturing experience.
  • The candidate must have previous blow molding experience.

  • The client is a FirmaPak Company a leading manufacturer of custom molded plastic containers designed to meet the specific industry requirements of many unique products. They specialize in the production of PET Reheat and Stretch Blow Molded containers as well as HDPE Extrusion Blow Molded containers.

Job Summary:
  • Ensure that the machines are running efficiently and producing the highest quality products daily and throughout the shift.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develop a solid foundation of mechanical and operational expertise with production equipment used to make our plastic bottles.
  • Learning the entire production process to ensure proper troubleshooting of issues or errors that arise.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and auxiliary parts to keep production lines running efficiently.
  • Develop ability to perform mold changes and run a project to start the production run.
  • Perform preventive maintenance based on schedule set forth by manager.
  • Become proficient in HDPE extrusion blow molding and PET reheat & stretch blow molding.
  • Complete maintenance projects in compliance with sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Learn and become familiar with quality control procedures for our products including measurable testing for meeting product specifications.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • This position will have no supervisory responsibilities.

First Shift Hours:
  • MonThurs 6:00am4:00pm (10 hours shift) *Occasional on call weekend work.


Requirements

Basic Qualifications:
This role might be a good fit for you if you:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Have previous manufacturing experience.
  • Have previous blow molding experience.
  • Possess mechanical electrical or HVAC skills/background.

  • Are a quick learner and like to troubleshoot issues independently.

Compensation package:
  • Bonus opportunities

Qualifications and Requirements: Experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, mechanics, CNC and welding equipment. Three to five years experience in a supervisory role. High school diploma or GED required. Effective communication skills both verbal and written. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Occasional bending, lifting, twisting, and stooping is required to perform duties.
