Job Summary:

A blood bank technician oversees the daily activities of a blood bank. It is their responsibility to make sure that the bank processes stores and supplies blood properly to hospitals. Different patients with a variety of diseases who want to donate blood interact with these technicians. These professionals stay up to date with the rules and regulations pertaining to blood donations and transfusions because they also perform a variety of administrative and paperworkrelated tasks.

Skills:

1 year Blood Bank Clinical Laboratory Technologist experience.

Education/ Certification/Licensing

Valid license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist issued by NYSED Primary Source Verification required. BLS preferred.
