Civil Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Organize prioritize and perform work assignments
  
• Client communications
  
• Prepare planning/specification documentation and technical reports engineering analyses opinions on probable costs and supporting calculations
  
• Evaluate select and recommend/perform design solutions
  
• Perform quality control/quality assurance activities
  
• Understand/apply departments standards and procedures
  
• Mentor/train junior staff
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering
  
• 5 years of experience in diverse civil site design projects
  
• P.E. License
  
• Knowledge of site grading/drainage design (storm sewer and detention)
  
• Proficient in utility design including sanitary sewer potable water and storm sewer
  
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
  
• LEED AP preferred
