Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics (HDDM) Wanted for Our Esteemed Client in Australia

Our esteemed client is currently seeking skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics (HDDM) to join their dynamic team in Australia. The successful candidates will possess a solid background in maintaining and repairing heavy diesel engines and machinery ensuring their optimal functioning. This role requires a meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

To be considered for this role applicants must:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the role of a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic.

  • Provide supporting documents such as qualifications payslips employment evidence a valid passport and police clearances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify faults and malfunctions in heavy diesel engines and machinery.

  • Perform regular maintenance checks and servicing to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of machinery.

  • Repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning parts using a variety of tools and equipment.

  • Ensure compliance with emission standards and environmental regulations.

  • Keep accurate records of machinery serviced and repairs conducted.

  • Adhere to all safety standards and protocols during maintenance and repair tasks.

  • Work closely with management to schedule and prioritize maintenance and repair activities.

  • Stay informed about the latest technological advancements in heavy diesel machinery.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in heavy diesel engine maintenance and repair.

  • Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in heavy diesel mechanics or a similar field.

  • Physical fitness and the ability to perform demanding manual tasks.

  • Proficiency in English both verbal and written to ensure effective communication with team members and clients.
