Job Description
Our client is a leading Business Advisory company looking to hire Partner for their Assurance team based out of Mumbai.
As a Partner in the Statutory Audit department you will play a pivotal role in developing leading and managing the audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients focusing on BFSI industry clientele. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory requirements maintaining highquality audit standards and fostering strong client relationships. You will lead growth of the Statutory Audit consulting business across strategic BFSI clients by leveraging both existing and emerging capabilities in addition to creating new strategic growth areas to deliver significant profitable growth for the accounts and consulting locally and globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Growth: Work with the leadership team to define a sound business growth strategy for designated strategic account(s). Actively develop business and contribute to the growth of the audit practice.
- Lead and oversee the planning execution and completion of the existing and new statutory audits for clients across BFSI industry.
- Provide guidance on technical accounting and auditing issues.
- Review and analyze financial statements and related disclosures.
- Manage and mentor a team of audit professionals providing training and guidance.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and professional standards.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business operations and industryspecific challenges.
- Develop and maintain effective communication with client management and stakeholders.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate audit procedures.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends affecting audit services.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 22 years of strong Statutory Audit experience in a Consulting business.
- Previous experience at a Partner level within a reputable audit firm.
- Must have a strong entrepreneurial & growth mindset reflective in the overall professional journey.
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing audit engagements and leading teams
- Thorough understanding of financial reporting and auditing standards
- Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance obligations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client interactions
- Ability to analyze complex financial and operational data
- Proven track record in business development and client relationship management
- Sound decisionmaking and problemsolving abilities
- High ethical standards and commitment to upholding professional integrity
