SysOps Engineer Linux

• Act as an interface between developers and production constraints caused by customer requirements.
  
• Design and implement solutions for cloud and onpremise projects focusing on availability and scalability.
  
• Provide operational support in 3rd level support scenarios ensuring the stability and reliability of deployed solutions.
  
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and technology monitoring to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
  
• Integrate solutions with other platforms such as OpenStack VMware and network infrastructure.
  
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver innovative and highquality software solutions.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in a technical field from a university.
  
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role.
  
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments with a strong emphasis on real production experience.
  
• Handson experience with container platforms such as Docker Kubernetes or OpenShift.
  
• Scripting skills with Powershell or Bash.
  
• Familiarity with configuration and deployment management tools like Puppet Chef Ansible and Terraform.
  
• Optional: Experience with continuous integration tools and processes (e.g. Gitlab or Urban Code Deploy).
  
• Willingness to participate in oncall duty 23 times a year for approximately 5 days and work onsite at customer locations.
  
• Fluent in both German and English.
