Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Description:
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will manage implement and support the AWS Cloud Infrastructure. This role involves implementing efficient
engineering and operational processes as well as establishing best practices to continuously enhance operational efficiency within and across
teams.
Requirements:
- Indepth knowledge of AWS services including Networking EBS EFS S3 EC2 VPC Backup KMS IAM CloudWatch and Lambda
- Responsible for installation configuration maintenance and troubleshooting of cloud infrastructure problems
- Advanced troubleshooting and problemsolving skills in cloud network infrastructure including Transit Gateway Direct Connect VPN routing etc.
- Manage the utilization and cost of AWS resources to optimize efficiency and reduce cost
- Experience working with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management respectively.
- Automating routine tasks using Ansible Python Lambda and AWS CLI for enhanced efficiency
- Experience working with versioncontrol systems such as Gitlab and Git
- Configurationlevel knowledge for Linux sysadmin with RHEL.
- Enforce security measures and compliance standards across various AWS services to protect data
- Threat protection maintain and improve the security posture of the AWS infrastructure identifying and remediating vulnerabilities
- A bachelors degree in computer science or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Workinglevel experience in AWS Cloud (AWS/AWS GOV Cloud)
- Advanced experience in large scale cloud architecture design and integration with a focus on automation networking and NextGen Firewall
- Experience with Terraform Ansible and Python
- Linux OS
- Proficiency in multicloud environments especially in Azure is highly desirable.
- A masters degree in computer science information systems or a related field.
