Our client is a mid size banking and financial services institution who provide full suite of retail commercial and corporate banking products and services. Based out of their headoffice downtown Toronto they are in search for their next Human resources leader.
  • Oversight human capital planning human resources allocation HRM strategy development and alignment staff development and retention.
  • Guide and arrange responses to organizationwide recruitment and employment matters
  • Maintain the Bank s full compliance with employment laws and related legal requirements ensure all internal policies are adhered to and promote the Bank s culture and workplace ethics
  • Advise on the Bank s longterm HR planning and budgeting and oversee HR and Administration operations
  • Work across functions at managerial level and above optimize HR management and work with related departments to advance administration mechanism
  • Lead the Bank s HR operations and comply with all policies manuals and procedures related to applicable labour laws and standards including but not limited to regulatory requirements of EDSC/Federal Labour Program CHRC (Pay Equity & Employment Equity) and OHSA
  • Comply with all policies manual and procedures related to compliance including but not limited to regulatory requirements of OSFI FINTRAC FCAC CDIC OPC and CRA.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Human resources psychology Business or relevant field
  • Post graduate degree CHRP CHRL is highly preferred
  • 15 years of broad human resources experience with minimum 58 years experience in a Human resources leadership function.
  • Experience in Canadian banking and financial services ideally at a schedule 1 bank.
  • Proven exposure to oversight on strategic initiatives change management development of policies and procedures talent acquisition
