Data Architect

We are thrilled to share the news that we have an opening for a skilled Data Architect to join our team in a position that will be performed remotely. In particular we are searching for people from the United States who have a great deal of experience in the fields of data management and architecture.

You will be responsible for developing creating and managing the data architecture of our organization if you are hired for the position of Data Architect. In order to guarantee that our data infrastructure is able to accommodate the requirements of our expanding organization you will collaborate closely with our development and analytics teams. In order to be successful in this position you will need to have a comprehensive understanding of data modelling database design and data warehousing in addition to having a solid understanding of the best practices and technology in the industry.

In this role you will be responsible for designing and constructing a data architecture that will facilitate the storage retrieval and analysis of huge data volumes.

Formulate and put into action the policies and processes pertaining to data management

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure data architecture meets the needs of the organization

Analyse and optimize database performance

Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve data management processes

Ensure data security and compliance with data privacy regulations

Lead and mentor junior members of the data team

The following are the requirements: a bachelors degree in computer science information systems or an area connected to it; demonstrated experience working as a data architect or in a capacity that is comparable

Knowledge of data modelling and database design proficiency in SQL and other database languages experience with data warehousing and ETL processes familiarity with cloud data technologies such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure knowledge of data security and privacy regulations and excellent communication and collaboration skills are all attributes that are required for this position.
