Job Description
Key Skills And Responsibilities
- Thorough understanding of plant mechanical and electrical systems along with in-depth understanding and interpretation of P&IDs, electrical one line/multiline and other pertinent drawings
- Follows safety/environmental rules and regulations. Implements project safe work practices and immediately identifies hazards and recommends and/or implements repairs.
- Understands and executes the equipment clearance (LOTO) procedure, as well as Job Safety Analysis/Work Authorization/Confined Space/Hot Work Permits.
- Receive, verify, and approve LOTO permits, as directed by the project PTW system.
- Ensures all protective measures identified on the permit are implemented prior to authorized start of the work.
