Job Description
Position Responsibilities:
- Use any and all precision measuring instruments, gauges, tools, etc., necessary to set up machine and/or check machined parts.
- Select and secure proper tools, fixtures, machine attachments, equipment, etc., to expeditiously accomplish work, and on approval, devise and make precision checking fixtures to check own work.
- Work with and interpret charts, tables, blueprints, solid model definition, handbook formula sketches, written and/or verbal orders, layouts, etc., and use shop mathematics including trigonometry.
- Do own layout for assigned work.
- Perform any bench work necessary to complete parts to required engineering/quality specifications.
