INSURANCE RECEPTIONIST (Permanent)
Our client a local familyowned insurance company in WNY is looking to hire an Insurance Receptionist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity with a company that values its employees and understands the importance of a worklife balance. There is room for growth and potential to build one s own book of business is desired.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daytoday customer service and administrative support tasks to ensure the company runs smoothly
- At as the initial point of contact for clients greeting as they enter to office
- Process/distribute mail and faxes to appropriate team members
- Answer incoming calls from clients addressing any issues/inquiries with professionalism
- Field phone calls from banks car dealers etc. and address any inquiries
- Escalate any critical issues to necessary personnel to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner
- Process billing transactions and assist clients with any inquiries/discrepancies they may have
- Process cancellations mortgage/lienholder changes and vehicle changes
- Ensure both hard copies and computer systems are uptodate and organized
- Scan necessary documents into system and attach to appropriate customer file
- Assist with policy reinstatement should a customer call about a nonpay cancelation
- Complete special projects as needed
- Other duties as assigned/as necessary
Details:
- Position is full time direct hire
- MF 8:304:30 with some flexibility
- Associates Degree in Business or related
- Insurance experience is a plus
- $19.00 $20.00/hour depending on experience
