Job Description

Overview:

The Regional Collections Manager is a key role within the organisation responsible for overseeing the collections operations across Karnataka region. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing and optimising the performance of the collections team ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations and driving the achievement of collection targets.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement collection strategies to meet and exceed regional targets.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the collections team to ensure high performance and productivity.
  • Monitor and analyse collection trends identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate actions.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in the collections process.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall collections efficiency.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to the team members.
  • Prepare and present reports on collection activities performance and areas for improvement.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and service providers to support collections efforts.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the collections function through innovative ideas and best practices.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all collection activities and customer interactions.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new collection technology and software tools.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues and negotiate payment arrangements when necessary.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge in collections.
  • Travel within the region to various collection offices and external partners as needed.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance or any related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior collections management role preferably within a regional or multisite capacity.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a highperforming collections team.
  • Indepth knowledge of collections laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effectively engaging and negotiating with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using collections software and tools to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding collection targets and KPIs.
  • Detailoriented with strong organiational and time management abilities.
  • Adaptability to changing business needs and a dynamic collections environment.
  • Professional certification in collections or related field is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the specified region.
  • Strong commitment to ethical and compliant collections practices.
