About the role
We are looking for a Senior professional for our Tallinn location. Here we encourage open communication welcoming your ideas and suggestions to bring them to fruition. Beyond your primary responsibilities youll also play a pivotal role in mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to the growth and success of the entire team.
Your responsibilities:
- Install and maintain IT infrastructure as well as create necessary documentation
- Manage and configure of Windows and Linux servers.
- Monitor application and database servers
- Organize and monitor internal network infrastructure
- Ensure information security
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
- Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure
- Diagnose software and hardware problems troubleshoot issues plan risks
- Maintain smooth CI/CD pipelines
- Support users organize the work environment and remote access
- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
- Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes

What you bring to birkle IT:
- Minimum 3 years if experience in system administration in Windows/Linux environments
- Knowledge about network connectivity (router switches firewalls VPN DNS)
- Passion to drive and share knowledge in the team and internal community
- Knowledge of scripting/programing languages (Python PowerShell Bash Java)
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and technologies such as Jenkins Docker Kubernetes and Ansible
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or Google Cloud)
- Full professional working proficiency in English German knowledge is a plus
