Job Description
- Obtain work assignment from lead or supervisor.
- Obtain appropriate engineering drawing(s) for assigned job.
- Obtain and verify kitted (pre-picked) detail parts, standards and assemblies were issued correctly by comparing part numbers and quantities to work order (W/O) and/or Bill Of Material (BOM) on drawing(s).
- Ensure that parts issued are effective for the airplane and are free of visible defects. Locate parts on assembly tools, mating parts and/or assemblies per drawing, W/O, or tooling instructions.
- Align parts to tool stops, matching pilot holes or by hand layout (as required) and secure in place using Clecos or tooling/hand clamps.
