Ensure CSCHA computer and radio monitoring equipment (e.g., monitored station, satellite location) is working properly
Check system for proper operation, (e.g., alarm, day/date, check printer paper) and log into system, as required
Perform visual inspection of radios at beginning of shift (e.g., cracked cases, broken antennas) and install fresh batteries, recharging depleted ones, as required
Monitor and/or issue radios and confined space flag to customers (e.g., sealers, inspectors, mechanics, engineers) in a customer oriented fashion and help resolve alarms and radio operation problems, as required
Ensure proper operation of radio being issued, through observation of self-check cycle (e.g., flashing red light, then flashing green light, audible beeps), as required
Assist customers in logging into CSCHA system, using bar-code scanner and appropriate bar codes (e.g., BEMSID, badge, confined space work location), as required
