Tasks

• Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of matters related to private wealth management including estate planning trusts tax law and asset protection strategies.
• Review and draft legal documents including trust agreements wills powers of attorney and other estate planning documents.
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to mitigate legal and regulatory risks associated with private client services.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including wealth managers investment advisors and compliance officers to address legal issues and ensure client needs are met.
• Participate in negotiations with clients counterparties and thirdparty service providers to protect the banks interests and ensure favorable outcomes.
• Handle legal disputes claims and litigation related to private wealth management matters working closely with external counsel when necessary.

Requirements

• Resident in Switzerland
• Fluency in English and German
• Min. of 46 years of experience practicing law with a focus on private wealth management trust and estate planning or related areas.
• Strong understanding of financial services regulations including those governing trusts estates and taxation.
