You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailRESPONSIBILITIES • Supporting the Senior Manager in establishing plans and procedures, regulations for safety, certifications, regulations, safety of operations, and risk assessments • Meeting KPIs and division objectives as agreed by the Senior Manager • Liaising with consultants and contractors on assessment issues, and interfacing with clients on both technical and contractual matters • Ensuring Safety Engineering and Safety of Operations activities are undertaken in accordance with the Common Safety Methods, Yellow Book and EN 50126 • Interfacing with railway regulation experts both within and outside the company PROFILE • Bachelor’s degree qualification in Engineering, with formal or hands-on training in railway safety, quality/project management • At least 10 years’ experience in railway safety and regulations, safety approvals, and decision making with particularly strong knowledge of EN 5012X • Extensive experience in the safety certification of railway projects and/or railway engineering, construction and maintaining/bringing assets into use • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
