Job Description
United Exports is a fully integrated international fruit breeder producer and exporter specializing in pioneering new blueberry varieties. Our flagship blueberry brand OZblu is revolutionizing the industry and setting new global standards. Reporting to the Freight Manager the incumbent in this temporary role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the seamless support the air freight team by updating and maintaining information in the ERP / Export systems and administering various freight related tasks.
Key Performance Outputs
- Send loading instructions to freight forwarder
- Generate and send customs & client invoices to freight forwarder
- Check and generate loading notifications
- Export documentation follow up and checking
- Update and maintain export documentation log
- Send loading notifications and export documentation to clients and clearing agents
- Upload shipment documentation to system shipment file
- Capture flight details in system
- Allocate pallets in system
- Track shipment ETD ATD ETA and ATA
- Capture and maintain all relevant fields in system and close
- Assist to amend / update transactions as required
- Assist with other logistics tasks and functions as required
Requirements
Qualifications / Experience
- Senior certificate / Grade 12 / Matric
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in the fruit industry
- Minimum 2 years experience working on ERP / export systems
Functional / Technical
- Computer literacy: MS Office (Excel Word. PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Fruit Industry
- Excellent Email etiquette
- Export / ERP system knowledge
