Job Description
InfraHire is looking for a Geotechnical Project Manager in Braintree MA.
Job Description:
- The ideal candidate should reside within a commuting distance of Braintree Massachusetts as this role involves a hybrid work setup. Workfromhome days are Monday Tuesday and Friday while Wednesday and Thursday are office days.
- Experience in preconstruction sales is essential involving interactions with General Contractors (GCs) Consultants and Owners to foster business relationships.
- The candidate must demonstrate confidence and the ability to manage 5060 projects at various stages from initial estimating to final proposal and negotiation.
- Our construction Project Managers handle the build aspect.
- Understand and breakdown geotechnical engineer reports consist of SPT and CPT boring logs and generate to scale subsurface profiles;
- Be able to understand a set of drawings and interpret the drawings breaking it down for the Project Managers;
- Have a complete understanding of the English language and be able to write reports and design submittals;
- Assist the project manages with their daily tasks which includes the following: takeoffs obtaining quotes proposal writing design submittals shop drawings etc.
- Strong followup interpersonal time management and problemsolving skills are necessary for success in this role.
- Comfort with attending industry events and potentially hosting lunchandlearn sessions for business development purposes is preferred.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) certification is desirable for this position.
