SAP Systems Analyst OpenText

A Systems Analyst develops applications; implements software packages integrates applications and provides 24x7 application support. Collaborates on all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) with a focus on the application design development and implementation phases. Utilizes appropriate development tools and technologies in keeping with the IT architecture.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Develops software of limited complexity based on specifications provided.
• Implements software packages for which limited configuration and integration is required with minimal vendor contact.
• Integrates applications where the complexity of interfaces is limited and based on specifications provided.
• Provides 24x7 primary support for one or more applications typically classified as niche or core but not missioncritical. May provide secondary support for missioncritical applications.
• Supports the request and analysis phases of SDLC by assisting with documentation and estimates.
• Executes the design development and implementation phases of SDLC by producing the prescribed deliverables under the guidance of more senior staff.
• Participates on an Application Development and Support team as well as project teams under the direction of their manager senior team members or project managers.
• Acquires and maintains knowledge of business areas relevant to projects and application support assignments.

• OpenText Directory Services
• C# Programming to the OpenText API would be a very nice to have skill
• Development experience in Opentext Exstream is an added advantage.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Information/Computer Science Business Administration Engineering Mathematics Information Systems or equivalent discipline
• Required: Minimum one year of experience in systems analysis design and development. In lieu

• Working knowledge of business software applications and hardware technologies. Stays current with IT industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Good verbal written analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Understands project plans and is able to clearly articulate their role project goals and timelines.
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.

Comprehends technical design specifications and possesses knowledge of development tools and technologies in support of the Information Technology Architecture.
