Senior Statistician

Upsilon Global are seeking freelance Senior Programmers/Statisticians to support a large range of programmes with an established CRO partners across the EMEA region.

We have multiple contract positions for remote workers to be assigned across various sponsor trials, with varying FTE.

Background and experience:

Technical Expertise, Scientific Leadership and Strategy

• Able to lead study under supervision
• CDISC expert (ADAM, TFLs, etc…)
• Demonstrates strong programming and domain expertise (SAS and/or R).
• Ability to execute a wide range of programming activities with minimal supervision.
• Identifies gaps in current programming best practices and may offer suggestions
• Ensures adherence to standards and has an awareness of evolving industry standards

Innovation / Problem Solving

• Anticipates problems related to assigned work or areas of expertise and able to implement solutions, proactively seeking input from colleagues as needed and appropriate time-management

Compliance, Quality & Governance

• Develop understanding of all applicable policies and procedures of the client
• Executes assigned tasks with high quality, integrity and attention to detail independently
• Independently performs Quality Control (QC) of other people’s work

Communication / Influence

• Demonstrated effectiveness in both oral and written communications, able to express ideas and incorporate feedback to produce a completed quality deliverable

Collaboration

• Works under supervision on multi-disciplinary teams
