We are now seeking an experienced Chinesespeaking Group Controller to join our rapidly expanding team.
Norsepower Rotor Sail harnesses the wind to maximize fuel efficiency and reduce emissions of ships. It is the first commercially available mechanical sail for large vessels. It has a proven track record of successful operation since 2014. Norsepowers project services cover all phases from sales to project delivery and operational support. Each project is planned according to the clients needs and preferences.
As a Group Controller you oversee the daily accounting operations of our European Headquarters and one of our group companies located in China to ensure smooth functioning. Your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with local statutory laws financial regulations and professional standards. You produce periodic financial reports and analyze financial transactions for quality control.
Moreover you establish monitor and enforce policies and procedures to maintain financial integrity. You actively monitor and confirm the financial condition through audits and provide necessary information to external auditors. Additionally you coordinate budget rounds prepare budgets and consolidate final budgets for efficient financial planning. Managing cash flow debt management and collection are also under your purview along with overseeing payroll processing. You take charge of preparing company tax and BAS statements ensuring accuracy and compliance.
The scope of responsibility is broad but you definitely wont be alone. Youll work closely with our CFO and receive support for success throughout our collaborativeorganization.
The primary work location will be in Helsinki Finland. However the successful candidate must be willing to travel approximately once per quarter to China Dafeng.
