We are looking for a Content Writer with SEO experience to support our team and manage some of our clients search engine optimisation activities. The successful candidate will also be responsible for creating engaging and highquality content for our websites and digital marketing campaigns that meet both user needs and search engine requirements. This role involves extensive research writing editing and proofreading of digital content that is optimised for search engines and is compelling for the target audience.

This is a remote position you will work from home and were looking for someone self driven and independent.

Please note: upon a successful 3 month contract you will be offered an extension for 6 months or a permanent position.

In September 2020 we started RobotZebra a sustainabilityfocused SEO agency.

We are now a team of six and were looking to grow to ten this year.

We focus on delivering exceptional digital marketing results ensuring maximum visibility online and protecting the environment as a result of our business operations.

About the job post

You will work across a range of projects including writing SEO content editorial writing and producing clear concise copy for website and marketing material. You will be responsible for reviewing writing and editing copies provided according to guidelines.

In addition you will be trained to perform a number of handson tasks for the clients: research carrying out SEO campaigns the management of the campaigns throughout their lifetime monitoring client websites from a SEO perspective being responsible for highlighting anything that could damage the health of the client website and more.

What will you be doing

• Implement the SEO content strategy for sites that seamlessly mixes into their editorial calendar and tone of voice.
• Input keyword ideas but also look to exploit new content opportunities competitor content and keyword gaps spotting emerging trends seasonal opportunities and innovative takes on whats trending on the web news and Social platforms.
• Optimise content on the regular basis but adding value not just regurgitating keyword lists find ways to make each optimisation creative and fun.
• Write edit and proofread website content landing pages blog posts social media posts and other digital assets.
• Producing flawless copy at pace for numerous marketing materials such as blogs online content articles press releases emails and newsletters.
• Optimise and continue to develop current SEO content on our stores including homepage keywords hyperlinks and backlinks by undertaking keyword research research trends and SERP.
• Create a content strategy including keyword search volumes SEO competition and trends.
• Use relevant SEO tools to research and identify relevant keywords and key phrases for target audiences.
• Analyse and report on the performance of SEO content making recommendations for improvement.

Responsibilities include

• Researching and writing SEO content for our guides blogs and product range.
• Attend morning briefing calls and training sessions
• Participate in the companys Slack
• Schedule your time using google calendar be able to self manage to a degree
• Assist in research for future content ideas
• Communicating with the team to ensure no overlap and mutual support
• Ensuring work delivered is in excellent quality
• Access wordpress sites to make minor changes
• Produce documentation in Google Sheets or Google Docs format
