Developer Community Advocate

About the Role

As a Developer Community Advocate your primary focus will be on cultivating expanding and overseeing Our client developer communities. This entails close collaboration with stakeholders across the company to align community objectives with product goals. You will actively engage with community members through forums chats and meetups leveraging your experience in building and nurturing MVPlike communities. Recognized as a leader in the data practitioner community you possess deep knowledge of Our client products. Additionally you will collaborate with product and engineering teams to share insights from the community and influence product development direction. The Developer Community Advocate role will drive the growth of both online and inperson developer communities.

Reporting to the Head of Developer Relations you will collaborate with other Developer Advocates and program managers. Our Developer Relations team is deeply passionate about data empathetic to developers needs and committed to leveraging our diverse skill sets to elucidate our products and utilize community feedback to enhance the developer experience.

Requirements

Qualifications We Seek:

• Demonstrated experience in designing implementing or overseeing an MVPlike developer program.

• Proven track record of managing operationalizing and engaging with developer communities including organizing user groups and global meetups.

• Strong subject matter expertise in data engineering (preferred) data analytics and data science.

• Established leadership within data practitioner communities.

• Exceptional communication skills with a knack for articulating complex technical concepts in writing teaching or discussions.

• Empathy and insight into developer personas enabling the creation of enriching community experiences.

• Previous involvement in launching a developer product and cultivating a thriving community is preferred. Alternatively a strong intuition passion and empathy for technical communities are indicators of potential success in this role at Our client!

About the Company

Candidates in the specified locations are preferred for this role although we are also open to considering remote candidates elsewhere.
