Job Description

InfraHire is looking for a Journeyman Chiller Technician in Phoenix AZ.
Job Description:
The Chiller/Commercial Service Technician will be responsible for installing servicing diagnosing and repairing commercial HVAC/R equipment. They will also provide assistance to the plumbing and controls department when required.
Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose service problems procure replacement parts adjust system according to manufacturers specifications and provide comprehensive explanations to customers regarding the issue and necessary corrective measures. Install service diagnose and repair commercial HVAC/R equipment.
  • Ensure adequate stock parts tools and safety gear are available in the vehicle.
  • Report potential business opportunities to dispatch (such as newer systems service contracts or additional services).
  • Provide assistance to the plumbing and controls department when required.
  • Maintain the company vehicle.
  • Travel to various job sites as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of service experience in Heavy Commercial HVAC.
  • At least 3 years of handson experience in diagnosing repairing and installing aircooled and watercooled chillers.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints plans and manuals.
  • Capability to accurately diagnose electrical issues using various electrical diagram types.
  • Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Possession of a valid drivers license and an exemplary driving record.
  • EPA Universal certification
