POSITION :
As part of its development FI Group is reinforcing its International Grants Department (IGD) and is recruiting an experienced senior consultant to actively contribute to the development of the European Aid and Subsidies sector of the IGD branch in France.
Your role: Within the International Grant Department your main objective will be to advise and accompany our customers in identifying applying for and managing public funded grants at European level.
Your key activities will be to generate new business opportunities support the sales team during EU grants presales and contract negotiations as well as to support FI customers in the development of their EU Research Development & Innovation (RDI) project ideas (consortia building & proposal development).
In collaboration with the other members of the team your missions will be organised around the following main axes:
1 Consortia & Proposal Development
Contribution to project conceptualisation including consortium building an existing personal network in the field of EU projects and notably civil security is appreciated.
Development and followup of budget negotiations
Coordination of the scientific project proposal preparation including drafting and editing of nontechnical/scientific proposal parts
Administrative support to clients and consortia during proposal development
2 Business development activities
Analyse Horizon Europe strategic papers work programmes and call topics on a regular basis
Implement the strategy and service offers defined by FI Group in France for Horizon Europe
Support and guide the sales team during presales and contract negotiations and followup
Active networking with the existing FI Group networks and continuously extend it (geography type of organisations etc.
PROFILE :
You have at least 5 years of successful experience in a similar position (at a consulting agency university RTO public institution) (preferably within the Civil Security ecosystem).
You are excited by the possibility to join a rapidly growing department with high market ambitions. You are interested in RDI able to adapt and get quickly familiar with new project concepts.
You are well experienced and fully autonomous in Horizon Europe proposal writing (focus on collaborative projects of pillar 2 e.g. cluster 3).
You appreciate networking and feel comfortable approaching new prospects clients or partners with the aim to trigger opportunities for new proposals.
You are a real team player keen in sharing experience and knowledge in EU Grants and in supporting the training of your junior colleagues You have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and preferably in French and you wish to join a dynamic solid and agile company
