Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Land Use Attorney to join our esteemed legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in land use law zoning regulations environmental law and real estate development. As a Land Use Attorney you will play a pivotal role in advising clients on a wide range of land use matters representing clients before government agencies and navigating the intricacies of land development projects. Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel to clients on matters related to land use entitlements zoning and permitting.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on land use regulations environmental laws and governmental policies.
  • Draft and review various legal documents including development agreements zoning ordinances and environmental impact reports.
  • Represent clients in administrative hearings zoning board meetings and other regulatory proceedings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams clients and external stakeholders to develop strategic solutions for land development projects.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends legislative changes and case law developments impacting land use and development practices.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar with good standing.
  • 3 years of experience practicing land use law preferably in a law firm or governmental agency setting.
  • Strong understanding of land use regulations zoning ordinances and environmental laws in California.
  • Excellent analytical communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional client service and achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
