Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Room Service Manager to oversee our room service operations and ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction at one of the top 5-star luxury hotels in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a passion for delivering memorable dining experiences.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate all aspects of the room service department, including staffing, training, scheduling, and performance management.

2. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for room service operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

3. Train staff on menu items, service standards, and proper food handling procedures to maintain consistency and uphold the hotel's brand reputation.

4. Monitor inventory levels, place orders for food, beverages, and supplies, and ensure proper storage and rotation practices to minimize waste and control costs.

5. Work closely with the culinary team to develop seasonal menus, daily specials, and promotional offerings that meet guest preferences and maximize revenue opportunities.

6. Oversee the preparation, presentation, and delivery of room service orders, ensuring timely and accurate service while maintaining food quality and presentation standards.

7. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and efficient manner, striving to resolve issues and exceed guest expectations.

8. Conduct regular inspections of service areas, equipment, and facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with sanitation standards.

9. Monitor room service sales and revenue performance, analyze trends, and implement strategies to drive profitability and achieve budgetary goals.

10. Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and front office, to coordinate service delivery and enhance the overall guest experience.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in a managerial role 5 Star Luxury Hotel, preferably in room service or food and beverage operations.

2. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team to deliver exceptional service.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with guests, colleagues, and vendors.

4. Extensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, ordering, preparation, and service.

5. Understanding of health and safety regulations, sanitation practices, and food handling guidelines.

6. Proven track record of achieving revenue targets, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability.

7. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

8. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.

9. Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
