Hello potential future Oatly employee. Its us the original oat drink company that started in Sweden back 25 or so years ago.

In the last few years weve become a popular and pioneering dairyalt player in the UK market. Were continuing to establish our presence here determined on being part of the discussion on the longterm future of the food and beverage industry. The Role

Were looking for a Communications Manager to join our comms team covering the UK and Ireland. In this role youll help deliver the PR strategy for the UK and Ireland markets elevate the Oatly brand to UK consumers and stakeholders and help mobilise the postmilk generation.

Youll report into the Head of Communications UK & Ireland and be a part of the global communications team working across our markets helpingcommunicate the organisations mission to help people live healthier lives without recklessly taxing the planets resources. Youll promote Oatlys products working alongside the brand sales public affairs sustainability and community management teams to deliver on commercial goals. Heres what the day to day could look like...

  • Support the success of Oatlys brand PR and PA campaigns through earned media and influencer activity.
  • Work with Oatly UKs PR agency to create a regular drumbeat of content sampling and features relating to Oatlys products across our target press and channels.
  • Keep on top of news and popular culture and find ways to creatively and genuinely insert Oatly into peoples lives.
  • Support Oatlys marketing events and press office responding to enquiries and protecting the brands reputation

Who You Are

If the below sounds like you wed love to see you apply:

  • Demonstrable experienceworking in communications (either inhouse or agency) with a genuine love and interest for the news cycle and earning media.
  • An organised multitasker who relishes working on more than one project at any one time.
  • A passion for writing with a knack for spotting what makes a story interesting.
  • Someone who enjoys communicating with a wide range of stakeholders regularly from press agencies influencers to internal stakeholders and teams.
  • Ideally previous experience working in food and drink or fastmoving goods. Youre just as eloquent in consumer lifestyle media as you are trade publications.
  • A love for magazines lifestyle trends social media and popular culture you cant help but be up to date on whats in and whats out.
  • An interest in food sustainability missionled brands and transforming our global food system for the sake of people and planet.
