Job Description
This is a remote position.
Our client Capital Access is looking for a remote Chief Financial Officer!
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) serves as the Lead for the finance accounting contract management and administration functions and staff. The CFO is a member of the Management Team and provides high level strategic analysis of business opportunities strategies to raise capital and generate executive level reporting on financial performance and trend analysis to support performance and profitability.
A. Serve as officer in charge of financial strategies to optimize performance and profitability.
B. Optimize internal controls and flow of accounting bookkeeping contract management administration and human resources systems.
C. Supervise and support financial and contract management HR and administrative staff.
D. Establish policies processes and systems and provides training and support for staff.
E. Directs preparation of financial statements tax returns and government agency reports
Requirements
A. Demonstrated experience skills and proficiency with:
QuickBooks Online QuickBooks Payroll and QuickBooks Time suite of programs
Excel Smartsheet and related applications for production models analysis database and report generation
B. Embrace a commitment to rigorous financial management and internal controls while proactively supporting the entrepreneurial spirit of Capital Access.
C. 5 years of experience leading CFO functions in private nonprofit and/or public entities.
D. Experience with financial and compliance management of government housing and community development and energy efficiency programs including 2 CFR Part 200.
E. Embrace accountability tools of the Entrepreneur s Operating System (EOS).
F. Excellent organizational time management and communication skills

This is AtWill Exempt professional fulltime professional employee position. Compensation is set to align with experience and expertise. Capital Access offers Health Dental and Vision Insurance and a match to a retirement plan. The position is eligible for periodic bonuses based on performance and overall profitability of the firm.
