Job Description:

Position Summary:
The Radiation Therapist is an ARRT Registered Therapist responsible for administering radiation therapy as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. They will interact with patients with cancer physicians nurses patients families and coworkers necessitating good interpersonal communication skills.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists as a Radiation Therapist
- Must have knowledge of department functions how and why radiation therapy is used and be able to explain this to nurses physicians Medical Center staff and the public
- Prior experience in a Radiation Oncology Department is desirable but not required
Hours:
8am 5pm Monday through Friday
