Position Summary:
We are seeking a FullTime Physical Therapist to work in our Clinic. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for outpatient and inpatient evaluations assessments plans of care and ongoing physical therapy treatments as prescribed by a licensed physician. They will administer treatment plans to restore function and prevent disability following injury disease or physical disability. Additionally they will participate in departmental operational activities and ensure proper documentation and billing practices.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform all physical therapy duties in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Implement patient care plans to optimize safety and minimize risk.
  • Demonstrate competence in physical therapy modalities.
  • Treat all patients with respect and dignity.
  • Provide assessments on indicated patients including geriatric adult adolescent and pediatric populations.
  • Evaluate interventions for quality safety and effectiveness.
  • Modify and progress plans of care as needed.
  • Provide recommendations to physicians as necessary.
  • Coordinate patient care and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Document treatment and charges accurately.
  • Share knowledge with colleagues and students.
  • Continuously learn and apply new information in the field.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree is required.
  • Masters degree is preferred.
  • Doctoral degree is preferred.

License:

  • North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Licensure is required.

Certifications:

  • American Heart Association BLS is required within 30 days of hire.
