Reporting Structure: Reports to IT Manager

Location: Hybrid (working at clients in and around the Richmond area)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Field Engineer to join our clients team in the Information Technology department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing onsite technical support to our clients troubleshooting hardware and software issues and ensuring the smooth operation of our clients IT systems.

Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite technical support to clients
• Install configure and maintain hardware and software
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues
• Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems
• Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5 years of experience in 3rd Line IT support
• Previous Field experience is essential
• Strong knowledge of hardware and software systems
• Excellent problemsolving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Configure and implement cyber essentials and GDPR security standards (mandatory)
• Office 365 Cloud (Email SharePoint Teams OneDrive) (mandatory)
• Network Infrastructure maintenance and installations (Routers Switches APs DHCP DNS TCP/IP Firewalls VLANs)
• Azure administration and implementations
• Valid drivers license and own vehicle (mandatory)

PC Specifications:

The company has a BYOD (bring your own device) policy and requires all staff to have a minimum of:

• Windows 11
• 12 GB Ram minimum
• SSD 256GB minimum
• Generation depending on processor family:
  • i9 8th gen
  • i7 8th gen
  • i5 8th gen
  • i3 10th gen
