Job Description

Job Title: Litigation Associate Consumer Products

Location: San Francisco CA

Are you passionate about consumer rights and eager to advocate for fairness in the marketplace We are seeking a skilled Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team in San Francisco CA. As a Litigation Associate specializing in Consumer Products you will play a pivotal role in representing our clients in a variety of litigation matters related to consumer rights product liability and regulatory compliance.



Requirements

Responsibilities:

  1. Case Management: Manage a diverse caseload of consumer product litigation matters from inception to resolution.
  2. Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on relevant statutes regulations and case law.
  3. Drafting: Prepare pleadings motions briefs and other legal documents.
  4. Discovery: Manage discovery processes including drafting and responding to discovery requests conducting document review and preparing witnesses.
  5. Court Appearances: Represent clients in court proceedings including hearings mediations arbitrations and trials.
  6. Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients providing updates on case progress and advising on legal strategies.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with partners senior associates and support staff to achieve litigation objectives effectively and efficiently.
  8. Compliance: Stay abreast of developments in consumer protection laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide proactive legal advice to clients.

Qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  2. Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
  3. 24 years of litigation experience preferably with a focus on consumer products or related fields.
  4. Strong research writing and analytical skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients colleagues and adversaries.
  6. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
  7. Commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards and dedication to achieving justice for consumers.
