Geospatial Analyst

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to deliver Geospatial solutions and support through the System
  
• Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development practices and processes (for each of the specific roles defined)
  
• 5 years experience working and exhibiting knowledge (for the specific role defined)
  
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and capacity to communicate and work effectively within a multidisciplined and blended team environment
  
• Relevant qualifications/certification/accreditation (for each of the specific roles defined)
  
• Experience and knowledge of Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW) and associated technologies(such as Teradata Informatica Hadoop SAS Cognos Qlik Oracle etc.)
  
• Demonstrated ability to query and interpret data using efficient and effective SQL and provide sound advice on complex data/information related matters to deliver quality solutions.
  
  

• Practical skills in developing data management design artifacts including developing mapping documents for builds in support of business processes and objectives.
  
• Demonstrated ability in the development and/or directing the creation of efficient maintainable and cost/effective databases.
  
• Demonstrated skill to prepare and/or direct the creation and maintenance of data management documentation.
  
• Inspires leadership through the ability to define and meet the expectations of the role.
  
• Experience in the following
  

• SQL for data analysis
  
• Data modelling dimensional and ERD and awareness of data vault
  
• Various database platforms (i.e. Oracle SQL Server)
  
• XML schema design ER Studio or similar
  
• Data management principles such as Metadata management Data governance and Data quality
