Full Charge Bookkeeper

Job Description:

We are looking for a detailoriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage our companys financial records and transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes including invoicing payments and collections.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports including balance sheets profit and loss statements and cash flow statements.
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with all payroll tax requirements.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and perform monthend and yearend closing procedures.
• Prepare and file quarterly and annual tax returns.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Handle any other financial tasks or projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with payroll processing and tax compliance preferred.
• CPA certification a plus.
