Job Description:
We are looking for a detailoriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage our companys financial records and transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes including invoicing payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports including balance sheets profit and loss statements and cash flow statements.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with all payroll tax requirements.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and perform monthend and yearend closing procedures.
- Prepare and file quarterly and annual tax returns.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Handle any other financial tasks or projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with payroll processing and tax compliance preferred.
- CPA certification a plus.
