Overview

One of the leading Telecommunication company in the country is looking for a business data analyst who will serve as a Regional Team Leader in Coast.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

1. Conduct data analysis on company sales customers and operational data sets to extract insights and enhance datadriven decision making.
   
2. In addition to conducting data analysis provide regular analysis and interpretation of data and trends to support decisionmaking by the management team.
   
3. Develop and synthesize all data sets into visual and nonvisual reports and recommendations that can be used by key leadership to guide business decisions.
   
4. Develop and implement predictive models to identify forecast business trends and outcomes and help in improvements of company strategy products acquisitions and operations.
   
5. Develop business intelligence reports including interactive business intelligence reports strategic management reports and ad hoc reports on a prioritized basis.
   
6. Consulting with end users / Management on business needs translating business needs into analytics/ reporting requirements.
   
7. Cross check and ensure consistency accuracy and overall integrity of business metrics.
   
8. Develop and maintain documentation training materials best practices and overall data toolkit
   
9. Generate various reports as requested by key leadership.
   
   

Requirements

Requirements

1. Relevant qualification e.g. Actuarial statistics information technology or equivalent expertise.
   
2. Technical Skills: use of BI tools to mine data sources and look for trends
   
3. Very strong data analytical skills
   
4. Advanced business intelligence skills (and at least 3 years experience of working in a similar role)
   
5. Significant experience of numerical financial or other analysis and interpretative techniques
   
6. The ideal candidate should have abilities in business acumen; strategy formulation and P& L understanding; data comprehension; data analysis and project management.
   
7. Problemsolving: Recommend solutions for creating more revenue and reducing loss
   
8. Excellent time management skills working on multiple projects with many data streams against strict deadline.
   
9. Should possess a strong business acumen.
   
10. MUST be an expert MS Excel user.
