QA Test Engineer (API Tester)
Skills:
API Testing: Proven experience in API testing with a strong understanding of
RESTful and SOAP protocols. Proficient in using tools such as Postman and
JMeter for API validation.
Postman: Extensive handson experience with Postman including the ability to
create and execute API requests analyze responses and validate data integrity.
Manual Testing: Solid background in manual validation of features for both UI
and API ensuring the quality of mobile and web applications.
Test Case Development: Proficient in developing and maintaining test cases and
test plans using testing tools such as Jira and Practitest.
Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with product
and development teams actively participating in discussions to shape QA efforts
and requirements.
Requirement Mapping: Ability to ensure that all projects adhere to both functional
and nonfunctional requirements and are accurately mapped to corresponding
QA test cases.
Metrics Gathering: Experience in gathering project metrics and preparing daily
status reports to communicate project progress effectively.
Daily Calls: Regular attendance and active participation in daily project calls
providing updates on QArelated activities and addressing any concerns or
questions.
Issue Replication and Resolution: Collaborate closely with development teams to
replicate and resolve issues ensuring a seamless integration of QA processes
with the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
API Validation: Perform thorough manual validation of assigned features
