Production Manager

Job Title: Production Manager
Location: Onsite Lovelock NV US

Essential Job Functions:

• Guide organize and direct hourly workforce to achieve safety operational and quality goals.
• Ensure proper operation of stationary and mobile equipment according to best practices.
• Longterm planning including projects process development budgeting and operational schedules.
• Training and maintenance of quality safety environmental and health programs including audit and development activities.
• Collaborate with maintenance to plan and schedule operations to meet sales requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Education Experience and Skills:

• Bachelors Degree or relevant experience or high school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and seven years of progressively responsible experience in production management
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in an industrial production environment; leadership skills preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites especially Excel and Word
• Solid background in Operations planning programs like JD Edwards
• Engineering in a manufacturing background preferred or equivalent background as Operations Supervisor in a similar field
• Ability to multitask and work effectively with diverse personalities to achieve continuous improvement
