The Newcomer Program Coordinator will play a pivotal role in fostering effective communication and collaboration among diverse stakeholders dedicated to providing assistance to newcomers and migrants in Rhode Island. This dynamic position requires you to create and manage a communication platform develop comprehensive work plans and ensure the successful implementation of the Newcomer Program.
Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration: Act as a bridge between government agencies NGOs community leaders and international organizations involved in supporting newcomers and migrants to Rhode Island. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to ensure a unified and coordinated approach to addressing the needs of the population.
Communication Platform Management: Establish and oversee a robust communication platform that serves as a central hub for information exchange and collaboration among stakeholders. Ensure the platform is accessible and relevant to all parties involved in providing assistance to newcomers.
Work Plan Development: Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop detailed work plans outlining objectives timelines and responsibilities for each entity engaged in the Newcomer Program. Provide guidance to align activities with the established plan.
Project Implementation: Take the lead in overseeing and ensuring the successful execution of the Newcomer Program. Monitor progress identify challenges and work closely with stakeholders to achieve program goals and objectives.
Data Collection and Analysis: Collect analyze and interpret relevant data to inform decisionmaking and enhance the overall effectiveness of the Newcomer Program. Utilize datadriven insights to continuously improve program outcomes.
Community Mapping: Develop community mapping initiatives to identify resources strengths and potential gaps within the communities served by the program. Utilize mapping data to tailor assistance and support to specific community needs.
Service Provider Alignment: Work collaboratively with service providers to align their offerings with the identified needs of newcomers. Foster partnerships that enhance the overall implementation of the project.
