TRACK Maintainer

• Inspect the track (both visually and using measuring equipment) he has been trained and authorized for regarding signs of damage or deterioration.
• Prepare appropriate tools for the works scheduled and maintain it after the end of the works
• Attend the everyday briefing given by the superior when signing on.
• Escalate any discovered issues related to the track to the superiors.
• Ensure to report to the superiors any safety nonconformity that may be considered as a risk to sustain the safety standards.
• Ensure alignment and assistance with site surveys.
• Perform cleaning on track side.
  

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Suitable vocational technical degree (Mechanical, or Civil).
  

Knowledge

• Having knowledge of the role and the behavior of all the Track and Turnout elements.
• Aware of the different safety rules pertaining to the track works.
  

Experience

• Having be part of a team working in the railway industry.
• Railway experience with Track maintenance is a MUST.
