- Inspect the track (both visually and using measuring equipment) he has been trained and authorized for regarding signs of damage or deterioration.
- Prepare appropriate tools for the works scheduled and maintain it after the end of the works
- Attend the everyday briefing given by the superior when signing on.
- Escalate any discovered issues related to the track to the superiors.
- Ensure to report to the superiors any safety nonconformity that may be considered as a risk to sustain the safety standards.
- Ensure alignment and assistance with site surveys.
- Perform cleaning on track side.
Qualifications
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Suitable vocational technical degree (Mechanical, or Civil).
Knowledge
- Having knowledge of the role and the behavior of all the Track and Turnout elements.
- Aware of the different safety rules pertaining to the track works.
Experience
- Having be part of a team working in the railway industry.
- Railway experience with Track maintenance is a MUST.
