Experience:
- Minimum of 810 years of experience
- 4 years of experience specifically administering and using Cisco ISE platform.
- Experience in a system administration role with experience managing Unix/Linux Windows and potentially VMware vCenter platforms.
- 4 years of experience with Cisco router and switch configuration and network authentication protocols like TACACS and RADIUS.
Expert knowledge of:
- Cisco ISE configuration troubleshooting and optimization.
- Network security principles and best practices.
- Network protocols (Ethernet TCP/IP SNMP VLANs etc.).
- Building and modifying Access Control Lists
Strong understanding of:
- Device profiles (e.g. workstation printer VoIP phone) and how they are used for network access control and policy enforcement.
- Accomplishing network segmentation by utilizing Cisco ISE
- Wireless networking technologies and protocols.
- Network infrastructure components like routers switches and firewalls.
- Security concepts like authentication authorization and auditing (AAA).
- scripting languages like Python.
Certifications:
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification.
- Wireless Certifications
