Welfare Diversity Manager

Our client is seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Welfare & Diversity Manager in our Administration Department reporting to the Managing Director. If youre passionate about promoting welfare safeguarding and diversity in the workplace this role is for you!

JOB PURPOSE: Develop and implement the Company s welfare safeguarding and diversity strategy policies and practices including a plan outlining the roles and responsibilities of the welfare department. Implement strategic goals of the department including impact measurement indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the company s welfare safeguarding and diversity strategy.
  
• Manage an effective workers welfare department and oversee worker committees.
  
• Establish a Welfare Office accessible to all employees.
  
• Create awareness campaigns to build trust in the welfare department.
  
• Address worker welfare issues such as drug abuse alcohol abuse HIV and genderbased violence.
  
• Ensure a diverse workplace through recruitment and hiring strategies.
  
• Review operations to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
  
• Collect and analyze data to evaluate workforce diversity.
  
• Collaborate with worker committee representatives to address welfare issues.
  
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work Psychology Gender Studies or related field.
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  
• Working knowledge of SGBV Safeguarding Gender and Diversity & Inclusion.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Psychology qualification and experience in providing psychosocial support.
  
• Selfstarter with proactive leadership abilities.
