Our client is seeking a passionate individual to fill the role of Human Rights Manager in our Administration Department reporting to the Managing Director. If youre dedicated to promoting and protecting human rights within organizations and communities in line with company policies and the UN Guiding Principles for Business and Human Rights this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop action plans to address human rights challenges.
2. Oversee human rights strategy and objectives.
3. Implement human rights due diligence activities.
4. Engage with stakeholders on human rights and environmental issues.
5. Foster community engagement and consultation.
6. Support grievance mechanisms and remedial efforts.
7. Monitor progress using relevant KPIs.
8. Collaborate with internal teams for compliance and capacity building.


Requirements

Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Rights international development or relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in business & human rights.
  • Knowledge of international and local legislations.
  • Experience in community relations and relationship building.
  • Solutionoriented with attention to detail.
  • Eligible to work in Kenya.
  • Proficient in Swahili and English.
