Unit Profiles: The purpose of a unit profile is to help provide an exceptional understanding of the unit. Profiles will include location number of beds patient rations and other unique details to assist recruiting professional in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff. Below you will find a data collection tool to help you identify essential data needed to complete your profile. Data Collection: Unit Information: EP/TELE 61179 Location: St Davids Medical Center Building: main building Floor: second floor Order Detail: Facility Department Number: 61179 Discipline: telemetry Quantity: 13 week contracts Target Start Date: Shift: 12 hours Call Requirements: none Weekends: 4 weekend shifts per schedule (example 2 weekends per 4 week schedule) General Information Tell us about the unit(s): *** Can float to other tele unit on 5ep with tele patients (12 bed unit with 2 RN/1PCT) Number of Beds 25 Number of Staff 1 CNC/5 RN/ 3 PCT/1 UC 1 day manager 1 educator Type of staff: o Day Shift 1 CNC/5 RN/ 3PCT/1 UC o Night Shift 1 CNC/5 RN/ 3 PCT Patient Ratios 5:1 with PCT Type of equipment EMR Meditech Permanent Positions on Unit Avaliable (Y/N) Y Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. ACLS BLS NIH Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. LVAD experience Post CABG experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Not many bedside procedures Best personality Fit: Team Oriented Flexible Dress Code: Include requirements but most of all not acceptable attire. Scrub Color NAVY Not acceptable (NO SCRUBS that are not navy no brightly colored hair) Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. Be on time 0645 clock out for lunch if no lunch taken report to charge nurse and fill out no lunch forms Awards/Recognition: Feel free to include items such as links to videos that feature the department outstanding department/team awards reigning annual chili cookoff winners etc. Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: Consider items such as new equipment or technology tenure and experience of staff schedule options etc. *Remember it is a very competitive market any information you can provide will help attract talent.
