Job Description
About the Company : Please visit
Role:
1. He/ She will be a part of team of US and Canadian lawyers handling various Crossborder litigations as a part of our litigation funding service offering.
2. Assisting in cross border litigations in various jurisdictions US Canada Bahamas Singapore Europe India and other.
3. Legal Due diligence of various litigation funding leads to assess merit practicality and risks with recommendation whether to fund the case.
4. Act as repository / custodian of all the documents pleadings and submissions in various litigations. Compilation of relevant documents and assisting discovery process in US and other jurisdictions.
5. Assessment of legal case and contribute to litigation strategy. Review pleadings to ensure it reflects the overall legal strategy.
6. Act as a one point of contact to keep track of various litigations / legal cases happening across the globe.
7. Research laws of various jurisdictions case laws research procedural law research.
8. Support in terms of documentation points for negotiation in settlement of legal cases.
9. Providing support in nonlitigation transactions like acquisition of business properties and businesses.
10. Draft review vet analyze various commercial contracts / agreements / deeds / MoUs Term Sheets and other standard documents.
11. Provide advice guidance and directions for inhouse legal matters and take steps to comply with all legal requirements
Desired profile:
1. LL.B. (US / Canada / UK trained preferred)
2. Experience: 57 years
3. Litigation expert: Experience of working as inhouse counsel is added advantage.
4. Experience of working in Canadian / US jurisdiction is added advantage.
5. Tech savvy able to handle various software relating to discovery MS Office
6. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Location: Viman Nagar Pune
Position : Whole time (no Sanat necessary)
Timing : 3 pm to 1 am (5 days a week)
