Dev Ops Engineer - Sr

Overview

Looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will help in the development and enhancement of the existing platform focusing on maintaining and improving the data ecosystem. The candidates will be proficient in Python Java SQL and AWS with experience in building and optimizing data pipelines and realtime decisionmaking systems.

Responsibilities:

• Work with crossfunctional teams to understand project requirements and develop software solutions accordingly.
• Design develop and maintain data pipelines to transfer data into our databases utilizing Python Java and AWS services such as AWS Glue.
• Build realtime decisionmaking systems to process transactions within strict latency requirements (500 milliseconds).
• Work closely with DevOps engineers to deploy and manage infrastructure on AWS ensuring scalability reliability and performance.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience as a software engineer with a strong emphasis on Python Java and SQL.
• Experience building and optimizing data pipelines using AWS services (e.g. AWS Glue AWS Lambda).
• Designing and implementing realtime decisionmaking systems with low latency requirements.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g. Terraform CloudFormation).
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with Scala and JavaScript.
• Experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Flink Spark Kafka
• Familiarity with EMR clusters and big data processing frameworks (e.g. Hadoop Spark).
• Knowledge of financial services or credit card processing industry.
