Overview:
The SEO Manager plays a critical role in driving organic traffic and improving search engine rankings for our organization ensuring our online presence is optimized for maximum visibility. As an integral part of our digital marketing team the SEO Manager is responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies analyzing website performance and staying current with search engine algorithm updates to maximize our online reach and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement successful SEO strategies to enhance organic traffic and improve search rankings
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to guide content optimization
- Monitor and report on website performance search engine rankings and traffic metrics
- Optimize website content and structure for improved discoverability and user experience
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content development
- Stay updated on search engine algorithm changes and industry best practices
- Manage and optimize website technical aspects for SEO performance
- Conduct regular SEO audits to identify areas for improvement
- Utilize analytics tools to track SEO performance and identify opportunities for optimization
- Provide recommendations and implement changes to improve website SEO performance
- Develop linkbuilding strategies to improve website authority and visibility
- Stay current with SEO trends and developments to ensure best practices are implemented
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align SEO strategies with overall marketing goals
- Generate regular reports and insights on SEO performance and impact on business goals
- Monitor and analyze competitor SEO strategies and industry trends
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications or related field
- Proven experience as an SEO Manager or in a similar role
- Demonstrable track record of improving search engine rankings and increasing organic traffic
- Proficiency in SEO tools and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics SEMrush Moz Ahrefs etc.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
- Experience with website optimization and content management systems
- Familiarity with HTML CSS and JavaScript as they relate to SEO
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Detailoriented with strong project management abilities
- Proven ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders
- Uptodate with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and digital marketing
- Certifications in SEO and digital marketing are a plus
- Experience in ecommerce SEO is advantageous
